The bookshelf I’ve designed is multi-functional and breaks down so it can move with you. Each one of the shelves is meant for various household items. The shelves can be rearranged by simply lifting them up off of the wooden racks and sliding them out. To knock down the book case, the feet can be unscrewed and the bottom and top pieces lifted off. This shelving unit is designed ideally for a studio apartment.
The unit consists of eight shelves: one is a mail holder with letter dividers, a bin for cards or a wallet, and hooks for keys; one is a paper towel holder; one is a food serving tray; one is a planter/large bin combo, one is a book shelf with a sliding book end, another is a shelf with holes, providing quick access to items with handles, another is a drying rack, and the last is a shelf for miscellaneous items.
The shelf is made of ash plywood, ash dowels, and galvanized steel sheet metal.
